model T connecting rods for re-babbitt

Post by Gene_French » Mon Aug 19, 2019 11:08 pm

I have way too many connecting rods … model T rod sets for sale $10.00 per set + postage … all will need re-Babbitt , boring and alignment check … I purchased a large quantity of model T and also model A engine components from an estate of a upper mid-west rebuilder several years ago … some have been cleaned , some have Babbitt melted out for re-Babbitt , some are dirty … I can fit 4 sets into a medium flat rate box for $14.35 postage … 6 sets will fit in a large flat rate box for $19.95 postage ...I have over 50 sets … always an optimist ...Gene French ph. 970-581-2808

David:
all the rods are of the light series … all are mixed , in that I got them in boxes … the caps were removed from the rods … some have the Babbitt melted out in preparation for re-babbitting … none are "matched" sets … all will need re-babbitting , boring and alignment checked … always an optimist … gene French 970-581-2808

David:
all the rods and caps are serviceable … regarding rod bolts … I make it a practice to replace all bolts in a re-build ,since most are fatigued and stretched or bent … you may RETURN the rods and caps if you are unhappy … I will refund your postage … always an optimist ...Gene French 970-581-2808
