WTB - excellent original Schrader Valve Stem Covers

Post by Scott_Conger » Tue Sep 10, 2019 11:06 pm

I am hoping to purchase at least 5 excellent covers...originals

the originals are apparently tapped 12mm x 1 and are embossed "Schrader" and are 2 3/8" long
the copies are tapped 1/2 - 24 and while they are embossed "Schrader" they are pretty much incorrectly made and are too long, and do not fit period hardware (threads are too large and sloppy)

To date, I have been blessed with great hardware from forum members, including some NOS stuff. I am hoping to round out this effort with the purchase of these covers in excellent/NOS condition if possible...what do you have that is gathering dust?

The top cover is what I am looking for
The bottom cover is NOT what I am looking for

thank you for your looking at this ad

Scott, l have em, probably you would need to replete them. Do you need the rim washer as well?

Hi Dale!

I was able to find a batch of NOS rim washers already, but would still be interested in seeing what you have. If you wouldn't mind sending a couple of pictures to my email, that would be great. Thank you for responding!
