Radiator wanted

Post by babychadwick » Wed Oct 16, 2019 6:45 pm

I have a friend down here who is looking for a good radiator for his 22 T. I will be making a trip up to TN over Thanksgiving and then on to Ohio and back. If someone has something in the south eastern US that will withstand southern FL year round heat he is interested.

After some members mentions Berg's Radiators I thought I'd look into it - result bought one. Built in Bluford, IL. Check it out. 4+hr drive from Cincinnati OH. I'm about 5 hrs away and had it shipped - was cheaper than me driving there and back. More cooling fins than the other guy.

This must be one of the 1% This is Henrietta's radiator. It needed a new top outlet. I had never before seen a pressed steel outlet on a high radiator. It had been repaired by winding string around it and then applying a thick coat of tar over that.
I have not touched the core. Not that this one would ever be for sale, but good originals are out there.

Chad I think I have what you need, 1923 guarantee it, used but like new condition, ran it three years then converted car to a 14 style. No dents, corrosion, never heating problem in lower Alabama. I live about 20 minutes from Pensacola so hooking up could be a problem. I will take $250 for it which is a lot less than what it is worth. If interested PM me. I can text pictures if interested. Not really
trying to sell just want to help the guy out. Sam
