Re: Wanted original exhaust manifold
Wondering if it's the exhaust pipe or body. The repos I have been around looks the same as stock. Sagging frame or body could put the floor boards closer to the pipe. Also in most cases a drooping exhaust pipe would drop the exhaust pipe down away from the body not the other way.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I am with you. The repro exhaust manifold is about one of the best repro parts available to our hobby. It would have to be a very RARE and EARLY car for me to consider wrestling with an original manifold. The price of the repro is saved in ease of installation.

Re: Wanted original exhaust manifold
Only exhaust "issue" I've had in recent years (20) was the cheap repro pipes not bent up correctly - that's why the pipe interfered with the trans. cover - never had an "issue" with the new repro manifolds.
