NH Full Flow Float Valves - Available this week
Folks on my waiting list have just been contacted, and I have several left over from the run, so if you're interested, now is the time to get them...
I am still including a free lead washer with each valve, in case you have a particularly stubborn carb that will not seal with the fiber washer. The next run of valves, whenever that is, will NOT include the washer and will have to be purchased separately.
Price is $25 per valve set + $8 postage (tracking and insurance)
If you want just washers alone, still $10 for first 3 and then $2 each after that...and I pay postage.
Please email me with requests rather than responding here...easier for me to keep track of who wants/what...thank you, and thanks for looking

Re: NH Full Flow Float Valves - Available this week
Hi Bill
They flow as much as the original Holley valves flow. Because of the design of the standard replacement valve sold by the suppliers, the flow is through about a .090 orifice and mine flow through .125" orifice which is the original design. There are other improvements, as well, to improve Cv. When you calculate the orifice area of both, you'll find the smaller standard replacement places a considerable restriction into the system compared to the larger, correct one. An additional benefit is the fact that this valve not only has the correct through-put, but unlike any other valve with correct dimensions, this has a Viton tip which will seal more reliably than a hard tip and will not degrade in the presense of alcohol in fuels. See: https://www.calpaclab.com/viton-chemica ... ity-chart/ This does not mean you do not require an independent shut-off valve for safety's sake. ANY gravity flow system can fail and flooding the floor with fuel, whether it be a barn or a basement garage is dangerous!
This was designed to help my dad and his heavy depot hack in E. TN. On steep hills he ran hot, surged significantly, lost power and would sometimes have to let the car sit on side of long hills to "catch up" on the fuel. This sitting led to more overheating, of course. Shifting to low made the problem worse, and quicker. He states that with this float valve, he can make most local hills in high now, and if shifting to low, he marches up the hill just fine. Now, someone's dad may not be entirely impartial, but I have a couple hundred valves in circulation now and have gotten similar statements of improvement from any number of folks.
You see the problem with a restriction is that the float bowl gets low, the jet cannot draw fuel properly, car runs lean, looses power and gets hot and and is now a self-regulating governor on the car. Once it sits a minute, the bowl refills, and once you attack the hill, the same vicious cycle starts over.
Folks who increase the fuel line size, and/or add fuel pumps are all trying to overcome the same problem: Lack of fuel flow, the root cause of which is a too-small of an orifice in replacement float valves. This valve solves the actual cause of fuel flow problems without introducing other variables.
Now...full disclaimer: If you live in flat country and do not exceed 35MPH, you likely DO NOT NEED this valve and the cheaper standard replacement is probably just fine.
Thanks for asking!

Will this work on the Ford NH too? I built one but have not installed it yet. My car is many months away from being roadworthy. No testing has been done with my NH.
