Gene: Why not think about rebabbiting camshaft bearings?

Larry:
i have re-babbitted cam bearings for my own use ... this requires that you start with good shells , the bearing halves are often worn out of round on the outside diameter ... this condition and any wear in the bearing bore of the block makes for a loose bearing ... also , the difficulty in getting an ample supply of good cores make this an unattractive venture ... always an optimist ...Gene French
