Post by Mark Osterman » Sun Jan 05, 2020 8:37 pm

Even though I don't live in Maryland I am willing to help. I have a Facebook account ans see what you has listed. Also we (you/I and MTFCA) can help price as well when need. Not necessary to take individual photos to start, she can take a group photo and we can go from there. I did try to see what was list on the Facebook Marketplace in Maryland and didn't see any thing that she may have listed. But there are other ways to sell stuff. So if I can get to where she has posted the parts we can get started.

Think I found her (Ronda House in Haggerstown MD). Looks like she is selling lots of other stuff to. Anyway, I applied to join the Model T parts group so I can see whats available under that specific heading, other wise searching isn't like EBAY

Looks like she has a an antique mall - Pricing when able to touch a part is much different when viewing and having to pay shipping
Tank to hard to price needs close inspection and then if no holes and not rusty (doubt it)
Switch - need to see back: then if shipping was $8 then <$10
Horn - there is a picture of the back but no idea of what it is. Bolts on back are wallowed out of base - Husband may be correct
By the way - these items are on a canvas tool bag which maybe worth more than.

I’ve been helping her identify and price things but it’s slow going. Trying to coach her on hw to photograph pieces. I want a carburetor but she has sent me about six bad pictures and from the least helpful angles. 😀 Kinda like the people on eBay who sell T parts but always post every angle of a carburetor except right side up (as if on the engine)

Some things can be copied and inverted but you can’t do much with underexposed and out of focus. Funny isn’t it, that carburetors get the worst documentation even by some familiar with them. Here is a comparison I shot to help identify the NH straight-through configuration. This can be difficult to identify in bad pictures. And try to explain the difference without them. 😀
