Goodbyes are always difficult, but we hope to honor and follow in the
footsteps of our fellow club members to keep the Model T spirit alive.

We appreciate when someone lets us know of a member’s passing.
But before we can print a memorial, we need to make sure we have
“family permission” (spouse or next-of-kin: parent, sibling, or child).
This is important for protection and privacy purposes.

Our first concern is for the surviving family member(s). Death notices
and obituaries can be used to scam or prey on surviving spouses. While
the Vintage Ford mainly goes to our members, there are other outlets
where it can be seen by the general public.

Our second concern is for the family’s privacy. Some individuals and/or
families are very protective about their private information being shared.
Or they know their loved one wouldn’t have wanted to be listed for
personal or other reasons.

When you submit a friend or fellow Chapter member's name for
memorial recognition, you can help us by also providing contact
information for their next-of-kin relative if you know it.

There are many members that have gone above and beyond for their
Chapter or the MTFCA. We’d love to recognize them all with a featured
memorial article upon their passing, but as our space is limited, we
currently use these guidelines:
  • MTFCA Board Members and/or Officers Yumori or Rosenthal
Award Winners and Speedster Hall of Fame
  • Inductees either as a note along with the standard listing or an
expanded memorial as determined by MTFCA Officers or Directors
  • Those achieving significant accomplishments in the Model T
world or hobby as determined by MTFCA Officers or Directors
