When I try to post pictures using photobucket I get this message.
"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

I don't use PHOTOBUCKET not sure if you have the app on a Smart phone or PC. But after reading about it, my guess is that you need to download you picture to your device (phone or PC) . Then you will be able add that copy as an attachment to you post. Worth a try anyway.

I also do not use Photobucket.

When I download my pictures to my laptop from my phone (camera) I have it set to go directly to Window Live Photo Gallery. From there all I have
to do is convert them from a JPEG file to a GIF file in "Paint". Then I can post them here. Only forums using the PHP BB hosting format require the conversion to GIF, the rest can just be posted as JPEGs

Keep it simple. Skip Photobucket. Post directly from your computer. A JPEG is fine. Like this:

Steve,

For some reason I cannot get a JPEG to post here or the AA-Fords Forum (both PHP BB hosted) I have to convert them to a GIF, but can post JPEGs on every other forum I am on that are not hosted by PHP BB! .

Chris,. Down below you see the tab that states attachments. Click on that, add files. It is not fast so give it a few seconds and you will be able to figure it out.

All of my pictures are JPG and won't post. I don't have the Windows Live Photo Gallery and I have no clue how to convert them to a GIF. In the past my Photobucket links had always worked.

Pictures being jpg files is not the problem. I post JPEGs here all the time.

Usually I don't have to do any editing, but occasionally the site will tell me the file is too big. In that case I just make a slightly smaller copy and proceed.

Where are you storing them (besides Photobucket)? Mine are in photos on my computer and are all JPG.

Mark,

Not sure who you were asking, but mine are also stored as JPEG files in Window Live Photo Gallery. I cannot get them to post as JPEGs, for some reason the only way I can get them to post is convert them to a GIF. This & the AA-Ford forums are the only ones I have this problem with, all the others take my JPEGs with no issue!

When I select image it gives me image tags. Is there an "insert picture" button somewhere?
