olddavemcbride---- Well this may sound dumb/stupid or other word's but
here is what I have been doing on passwords! I have slips of note paper that I writer down
who the password is attached to-like MTFCA-Facebook_ or other sites I visit and
I write down the username and pass word and date it. For the MYFCA I have
it scotched taped to the side of my monitor so it is in view and handy.
This may help as I had trouble till AdminJeff got me on the right track, so give it a try
I go thru my notes from time to time and discard the one I don't need Another thought
would to have a small clip board and some way to know just where is a specific password.
Give it try and see if it works for you!!!

A variation on Bill's suggestion is to keep a list of websites, user names, and passwords on a flash drive and just plug it in when you need the info. I'm not smart enough to remember dozens of passwords, so this works for me.

I used the same yahoo email for 21 years. Ran my business with that email.
My computer didn’t ask me for the pass word but the yahoo had me change it because the old one was not confusing enough.
So I changed it.
Again my computer didn’t need me to sign in.
Then one day some crum was cleaning a virus out of my computer and he signed me out. Now after about six years I can not get back into my old email.
Plus.... the scam artist supposedly fixing my computor wanted to be paid by PayPal.
PayPal called me on the spot and told me not to pay him as he is a scam artist and PayPal also cancelled my account at the same time to make sure I wouldn’t pay the scammer.
Nice. Now I can’t do much on eBay because I have no PayPal.
life’s a birth and then you die.

I bought a neat little spring binder book that I keep hidden in the bookshelf.
I write down all the password changes and date them so I know if they are the new or old ones.
This month I finished my application to be a U. S. Sensus taker.
I got photographed, fingerprinted, sworn in, got my stuff and a new IPhone over a 6 month period.
The last thing included screwing around with very difficult pass words. Just too fussy how they were made up.
When I got home I got an email from the Sensus people that included making another secret password.
When I took my stuff back to the meeting place and resigned they told me 5% resign or just never finish the applications.
They do pay $25 an hour.
Have you applied for a job lately? You gotta do it on line. You gotta have a 12 character password, can’t repeat the same letter or number more than once, got have some numbers some lower case letters, some capital letters and a special character.
Can’t use names or ......dates or......
