Posting pictures sideways
I shoot with a camera, not a phone, but even it sometimes gets confused and sends the wrong message to the forum software and the picture shows up sideways in the preview. When this happens I open the picture file on my computer, rotate the photo 90º left, then 90º right, then hit Save. So far this has always made the picture post correctly on the forum. I don't know if you can do this with phone photos.
The inevitable often happens.

Re: Posting pictures sideways
I now only use the iPhone for my photos and had the same problem of photos randomly being turned at right angles. I have a simple editor on the phone and rotate ninety degrees four times and reinstall the picture and it seems to work.
Of course it may still be randomly working, who knows????

Re: Posting pictures sideways
I found with my iPhone, if I take pics horizontally....make sure the camera icon rotates first. Then I have the phone vertical, again making sure the icon rotates and post.

Re: Posting pictures sideways
I post with an iPhone and have the same issue for about 2 months. Right about the time they were having problems with hackers. Prior to that, every picture posted right side up. Something must have changed in the forum software. Also have had to log in very frequently, sometimes twice a day. That seemed to start about the same time.
Would be most excellent if someone would look into this.
Thanks!
