Yes, repeatedly. Often pics won't load, or when submitting I get the same message. When I try again or refresh photos and text are gone:

Yes, I can login but get the message going from post to post. Also sometimes the pictures don't come up. I wait and sometimes things work fine.
Like just now for instance.
I'm not on a phone but the computer.

Same here. Tried several times to post a photo and it was like turning off a switch someplace! Frustrating, but obviously working now. Will try to post a pick- nope-when I try to preview it tells me the board is not available.

In a possibly related thread, Kalamity Dick was reported to be seen up around
the power station today, calibrating the 12 cylinder Fizzlenixxer to the new coil
configuration. A lot of sparks were seen by nearby residents, including those
planning travel through Missouri. Coincidence ?

Nearly all day. Much earlier today I lost a lengthy write-up answering some questions asked. But I' get over it.
Whatever it is, I suspect will be straightened out soon enough. Thank you Chris, Jeff and all those that this possible.

I'm getting it too, usually when I try to post a picture, although it has happened when I just try to reply as well...takes a while to get these things settled, so let's all just try and be patient for a bit...I'm sure they'll clear out the bugs here soon.

I clicked on "Delete Cookies" and re-logged in.
All is well.

Same here but clearing cookies did nothing. It did seem to work at the moment but with in second of navigating the site brings the problem right back. Also getting the pictures as files. Refresh and then it's OK but then lost again.

It seems to be totally random, with various things sometimes working and sometimes not. It makes me wonder if some kind of virus has somehow made its way into the server.

I seem to have to sign in frequently. Even when already logged in, I often have to log in again when attempting to post. The frequency of getting the "board temporarily unavailable " more often today than before. This is a new problem that I didn't experience until yesterday.

Its getting to be a consistent and persistent problem. Multiple tries with the refresh icon sometimes helps. Its is getting to be annoying.
Waiting for a fix.

Lots of issue on that "board not available" notice

Happens each time trying to read new threads/ Just happened with this reply too. Took six times to open this reply.

Tried delete cookies, nope. Then got back by going to home page and then forum, then log in....still got 'board not available'
Have deleted the forum site from my home page too and reinstalled.

Still each time to go back to topics, get that message.

So something is an issue ......... just reporting

It seems to me that the “Unavailable” is something to do with the moderators trying to sort out the forum problems

Nope not us, all we tried is with the board running.

It also appears that the feature to view the original picture by tapping on the forum page has been eliminated.

Picture loading/viewing should be the same, nothing we did there either. Chris B

Tony, I find that on some of the pictures also, but I think it has something to do with an attached photo versus one that is a drag and drop. Jim

I can do what I need to do but it is frustrating. I have double clicked and that sometimes works and sometimes it kicked me out.
My Model Ts and my paintings treat me this way too. Even communicating with my wonderfully smart and beautiful wife gets this ways some times.

THANKS to all who are trying to resolve this issue with the forum. It is frustrating BUT the one upside is that I get to start drinking earlier today to make up for all the frustrations!

We made a change to the session time out and will be talking to our provider about CPU usage.

Is anyone seeing this at the top of the page?

On most threads with multiple photos the first ones may appear as normal thumbnails and the later ones only as file titles.

We're not done yet. I made some server changes today to try to fix the "System Unavailable" errors everyone's been getting and have been on hold w/ the tech support guru's while they pour over our configs. Fingers crossed that we fixed it.

Everyone should have a little patience. This is complicated software and the internet isn't like your power company or land-line phone service - it's not always working the way we want it to. In fact, the Internet often breaks!! I should know - I helped design some of it back in the day. Lord help us...

Jeff, I too live in Northern California as you do and our power company, PG&E, isn't so simple ether, like the internet. Often PG&E breaks things, and many times it is other people's stuff. It's to bad we can't fix PG&E with out losing a lot of our $$$$$.
