Lizzy needs a radiator

Post by Michael Paul » Wed Feb 13, 2019 7:31 pm

Hi all, looking for an old radiator to match Lizzy's patina. She was born in 1926 so something around 93 years old will be perfect! (High radiator) Leaking, worn, beat up preferred. I can pick up at Bakersfield.
Thanks Mike

That's cute Michael. Love the cattle and back country!
I've a scrap high radiator but I'll only be as close as Chickasha as I'm in Nashville.

Do you want a working radiator or one to just put on the T

Thank you for the replies, yes just an old radiator, doesn't need to hold water. I was hoping to find something weathered.

This started out with the 1956 international that I salvaged from a ranch near Redding California. I tried tow mater teeth on it just for fun. Not a perfect match but close enough. Then found the rusted out coupe at an estate sale near Placerville. Fillmore (V W van) was on Craigslist for $1000, and Sarge a 1946 cj Jeep was restoration project never finished, it has a power take off out the rear with gear reduction shaft to run tractor attachments. Things have gotten a little carried away, I just found a 1952 Hudson hornet 2 door ( Doc Hudson ) fairly complete for $700 . At some point I need to rein things in or the poor cows won't have any grass to eat!

It is fun seeing the kids with their parents driving by to see them, maybe it's the start a whole new generation who loves old cars!

I've thought about starting a pumpkin patch, and offer rides in my T touring around the ranch. And have even been looking for an old amusement park train that might be for sale. Anyone have a spare train they want to part with? LOL
