What is the material used for the "ground" electrode on Champion"X", or other plugs?
Kind of a stretch to ask here, but I know that there is an amazing breadth of industrial experience lurking out there in Forum-land. So, does anyone know what the bent wire that is, or likely is, that is staked into the threaded plug on "X" plugs? I have my suspicions, but no longer have acces to a SEM or other analytic equipment, so need some industry knowledge/guidance.
Thank you in advance

Scott I had the book with all that data in it up to 5 years ago. Loaned it to a guy, and he denies that he had it! Wonder why! Books do not leave this place no more! Wish I could have been of help.

Steve, Yes, of course. Thank you and I will fix the heading.
I was changing tires yesterday and had "Firestone" on the brain, I guess.
thanks again.
