Don is a local friend here In Nicholasville, KY who is a Model T neophyte, but very enthusiastic.
I highly recommended this well pedigreed and very reasonably priced car to him knowing he would not be stuck with a dud.
Now I guess I will have to teach him how to drive it?

Re: F,S. 1926 Model T Ford Touring car National winner on t bay Sold
I have been very grateful to everyone on this forum for their help with this sale. If anyone is struggling to sell a car, Bob's experience and level headed advice will certainly help you. Did I get penny I wanted for the car? No. Did I get a fair price, that allows me to go after the next project in the midst of some brutal economic conditions? Absolutely.
For me, this is not goodbye to T's but hello to the next big project. Thanks again to all.

So Who Bought This Car ?
Bob,
I am not sure who bought this car.
Someone called me & said Ron Patterson lived close to him and referred me to possibly transport a Model T you had for sale.
He said it would be his first Model T.
I gave him a price for the trip with pick up early next week after I drop off at The Early Ford V-8 Museum in Auburn, IN.
He never called me back.
I don’t know if that was the guy who bought the Model T you were selling ...
I take exception when someone mentions my name and misrepresents me.
I already have been dealing with a BS Artist for many years who furthers his transport business by spreading lies and disinformation about me while repeatedly attacking me personally & professionally in his posts soliciting transport business

I painted this car and Eric and I are childhood friends. Our dads were in the hobby and that is the way our friendship started. Hated to see it go and it’s not even mine. The smile and the thumbs up makes me think it found a good home. Stay safe out there!

Re: F,S. 1926 Model T Ford Touring car National winner on t bay Sold
I have been the owner and caretaker along with my childhood friend Mark for 20 years. I have loved the car dearly but recently have found myself more interested in the earlier cars as well as later cars. Because of space a couple cars needed to go. Fear not, I'm not getting out of Ts but instead want to focus on my '13 Touring refurbishment and eventually will restore my long neglected '26 Fordor and hope to spend some good time with Mark on that one. I also bought a '37 Cadillac recently which will be my "modern driver " replacing both the '26 Touring and my '62 Lincoln. All good things in the hobby! I am very happy with the enthusiasm of the new owner of the Touring.
