Hello
Does anyone know the center distance of the two 5/8 holes for adjusting seat position, in the wood seat frame (frame seat spring sits on) for a 1927 Coupe?
In addition, does anyone know if the seat spring is fastened to the wood frame, if so how?
Thank you
Joe

Re: wood seat frame
Joe: 24" center to center on My '26 coupe. I made the holes slightly over 5/8, but I'd wait to drill those til you have the seat riser, just in case.
There are sheet metal tabs folded over the bottom spring frame along the front and back of the spring that wood screw to the forward and rear rails of the wood base. I think there are 3 tabs, 2 near the corner and one near center of the spring, front and rear. Have fun, jb

Re: wood seat frame
Thanks for the info James .... But I am looking for the measurement from the front edge of the wood frame to the center of the first hole and also the center to center dimension from the first hole to the hole behind it (going to the rear of the car ) Sorry for the mix up ...Joe
