I'm Back with More Surplus Parts - Make Offer! :)

Post by CudaMan » Mon Mar 29, 2021 5:56 pm

Wow, this old thread got resurrected, so I figured I'd better update the image and descriptions. :)

I made another pass through my accumulation of parts that I accumulated but won't be using. Some you've seen before, others are new additions.

If you're interested in any of them, feel free to PM or email me with an offer. I will reply with either agreement, or a counter offer.

Item A is a Rayfield L2 carburetor with an adapter to fit my Flanders. I replaced it with the correct factory carb.

Item B is the prestolite tank that came with my 1912 Flanders. I decided to use an E&J generator instead. The tank is 16 inches long, not counting the fitting on the end. The gage on the back has a broken glass. The tank comes with a new decal set. - SOLD!

Item C is an exhaust cutout for 2" pipe. It came on my Flanders, but I removed it. - SOLD!

Item D is the firewall side of a mount for a Jones speedometer. I do not have the matching speedometer side. SOLD!

Item E is a Goodyear tire iron. It has pitting and someone (not me) drilled a hole near the base. SOLD!

Item F is a brand new brass front license plate bracket. I bought it for the Flanders but decided to make my own bracket instead. SOLD!

Item G is a set of four new 2.5" spring clamps from Speedway Motors. Maybe good for a speedster?

Item H is a set of four priming cups off my Flanders. I was told these are later Studebaker cups, so I removed them and installed more correct ones - SOLD!.

Item I is an early style timing rod with the swivel end included. SOLD!

Item J is a set of six one-piece manifold gaskets. These combine the function of the gland rings and copper seals in one unit. SOLD!

Item K is a brand new steering column registration holder. I bought it for the Flanders but decided not to use it. SOLD!

Item L is an early, closed end style spark plug wrench. SOLD!

Item M is an exhaust heater shroud, it is heavy cast iron. I bought it for my 1924, but decided on a different design for my heater. - SOLD!

The only items left from this batch are the Rayfield carb (item A) and the aftermarket spring clamps / U-bolts (item G).
