Yes. Just missing the wood carrying case box for the battery innards!

Thanks for the info. That’s an awesome relic. The wooden case was there but was rotten and falling apart. I picked up another one in good shape at a car show for the battery for $20.

You have a rare piece there, and should take care if it for future reference. I've not seen the guts that you have presented in that manner. The wood battery cases show up from time to time, as well as the hard rubber ones posted above. Neat item!

I agree with Larry! I have been trying to accumulate enough parts to build a display battery for several years. I have the wood case, one cell cover, and three of the screw-on caps. Still looking for two more cell covers, three of the hard rubber "jars", and all of the lead terminals and connectors. Maybe something will turn up at Hershey. :)

There is a NOS wood battery case on ebay now! Unfortunately, they are asking $200 for it!

It can't be that hard to make one ! The photo of the Ford battery with the Ford script stamped on the cell straps clearly shows the joinery that was used. Making reproductions as a paying venture may well prove $200. is pretty reasonable at that ? :D

Someone should make a silicon mold of the terminal connectors & caps.

You done good to find a wood battery box for $20. I have seen most sell for $100. +
I would also guess that your battery is pretty rare. I would have thought most were trashed when they were no longer serviceable.
