CANADIAN front license bracket, 26-7
So in a moment of silly I have embarked on another part reproduction project!!
This bracket bolts to the front fender arm and can fit either side. Typically it was on the drivers side. I’m currently obtaining costs and as is typical the more copies I make, the lower the unit cost will be. If you are interested, please respond.
The next project will be making new Canadian brake lights. That will be a REALLY entertaining project!!

Re: CANADIAN front license bracket, 26-7
Hi Les,
I too would be interested in the design / location. I have been seeking an alternative
location for my Number Plate for ages. Currently it sits behind the crank handle and is almost non visible
as I have front bumper bars too. Maybe the Geelong models were different again and I should look at the
original car here in Perth. I’m about to locate it in a wooden board in the centre of the bumper bars.
Regards Alan

Re: CANADIAN front license bracket, 26-7
Hello Les, Unfortunately we missed contact last summer on our camping trip tour through Calgary. Thank you for first of all for your ability to design and make these parts that improve our cars, and more importantly, your interest and willingness to create them. I am building a car like yours and would certainly be honored to have one of those brackets, and a floating transmission shaft, and probably anything else you make for this car. Again my gratitude.

Re: CANADIAN front license bracket, 26-7
With the Bracket being located there certainly encourages hand cranking from the bottom up only!

The edge of the plate is about at the edge of the radiator core. So clear of the crank

So now it looks like at least 20 pieces.
I’ll be getting the parts laser cut and I’m pursuing finding a local supplier with a spot welder to put the parts together

Am I too late to put my name in for one? My current front plate mounting is destroying my radiator, may as well do it right.

Les, how much do they cost, how much for shipping, and how do you want to get payment.

I think that it will probably work out to $30.00 with shipping. I have not had a chance to confirm this though, just a guess!!
