Low Head no Made in USA
This is a low head without the Made in USA script, removed from a running engine. These are hard to find.
There is a small area brazed on the very rear edge and one bolt hole looks like it has been enlarged slightly; this did not cause me any trouble. $300 plus shipping

Re: Low Head no Made in USA
I believe this type of head would be from a 1912.

Re: Low Head no Made in USA
I'm looking at Gail Rodda's Volume 2 Parts ID Guide page 16, Pictures 3, 4, 5. Is this a head first used on a Thermo-syphon engine, 1909 to early 1910? There are no numbers above the Ford script and that is what is throwing me off. An early 12 would have numbers above the script.

I believe this is a Canadian head. The 12 style US has a distinctive smaller or more crisp Ford Script.

Re: Low Head no Made in USA
I am not sure, I've never seen anything definitively documented. This was on my late '11 and I ran it for years, it looked much better on the early car than the later low heads with Made in USA on them. I removed it when I found one that matched Gail's pictures for an '11 with the specific casting marks, etc (that one cost much more than I have on this one listed for).

Re: Low Head no Made in USA
How about $250 plus shipping? Low heads without Made in USA are hard to find, and on an early car it looks a lot 'closer' than a common low head.
