It will be the 15 again. The engine is at Mike's in Tulsa, and I'll be going down Monday for another work day. I hope to have it back in the car in a couple of weeks so I can spend August breaking it in and getting ready to go.

Steve, you will love the SCAT crank. Engine runs smoother and no more worries about participating in the two-piece lottery.

Beware on the Scat crank. The front horseshoe bolt comes too close to it, and I think I had to dish the horse shoe a bit too.

It's the rear hose shoe, not the front one...... there's lots of clearance for the front one, I finished my engine up the other day and went through that. Just use a 1" long 5/16" bolt, cut the head off, put it in the center rear horseshoe hole, weld it, then grind the horseshoe as needed. I'ts really easy to see this with the inspection pan off.

Yep, I believe he already did. Last session we got as far as trying to install the main shaft without any runout. When we couldn't do any better than .002" we quit that and did the front axle instead. I'm going back tomorrow with a box of main shafts in case we want to look for a better one.
