Post by KenHaverhill » Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:21 am

Your best bet is to obtain a copy of Russ Furstnows speedometer book. Your wheel gear will be 60 teeth, and the fiber gear will be 16, and the swivel will be 2 1/2 rh.

The road gear, which is mounted to the wheel, is a 60 tooth 8 pitch gear. The pinion gear, which is attached to the swivel joint is a 16 tooth 8 pitch gear. The ration at the swivel joint is 2.5:1. I hope this helps.

Be very careful when you buy a swivel. Make sure it is tight with no slop and the right ratio! You can make very expensive purchases on ebay and car shows ... that are mistakes.
