TT truck tire rim, Kelsey 23”

Post by Dropacent » Wed Sep 04, 2019 3:37 pm

Just a beautiful example of a 23” Kelsey lock ring rim, this is for the 33x5 or 32x4 1/2 tires, has been sandblasted and ready for a new home. The outside surface was just painted, no rust at all and is outstanding. The inside surface has light to medium pitting as you could expect. Way above average condition. . $150 tmorsher@icloud.com to reach me, thanks!

I have Kelseys that are different than this one. They are split rims and have a thin pencil sized spacer ring to fill the gap between the wheel and the rim. They use a clamp like the one shown above.

I don’t know guys, I’m sure no authority on TT stuff. All I know is I’ve had 2 TT trucks over 40 years with rear wheels just like this spare rim. Perhaps it’s a regional thing, perhaps not. This would probably be a better discussion in the forum. Layden is an authority on wheels, and has helped me in the past. As you can see from the Ford parts book page, there were a lot of options, perhaps you just haven’t seen all the examples yet. I. At the OCF today and will be looking at truck wheels in the commercial section.
