FS Black Era Headlight Bucket
FS. This bucket is a black era bucket and has the "flat" sides where it fits into the fender brace/headlight mount. I don't recall the years, it is earlier than the ones with the tapered sides. It isn't one of the early ones with the focus screw on top. It is useable, but not perfect by any means. It has some paint on the upper half, both inside and out. There are four very minor dents in it, very easy fix and has the bulb socket and adjusting screw intact, probably still has the unobtainium screws for the wires. BUT, the bottom 25% of the bucket has some rust from water setting in it. There is one very small crack at the slot for the ring, and a bit of a rust swell in the inside between the top and bottom bracket rivets. The bottom is pretty thin around the slot for the ring, but the ring would still hold the lense. There are some marks from a pipe wrench from when someone "adjusted" the headlights.Threads for the nut will clean up very nicely. Some lettering on the back around the plug, can't quite make it out, looks like, TJC LAMP CO CIN OHIO. Would be good for a survivor, doodlebug, or driver. $10.00 plus shipping, I can text pictures. Re: FS Black Era Headlight Bucket
Found another bucket, not quite a match, but has the same "flat" sides where it mounts on the fender brace. Overall condition is quite a bit better, no dents, minor surface rust on the outside and on the lower third on the inside, has the nut (threads will need to be chased as well as the threads on the stem), stem is very nice, bulb socket is there, but may or may not be useable. This will clean up very nicely with a bit of work. $15.00 for the pair plus shipping, I can text pictures. Dave
