Re: Help Identifying Rim Clamps Model T & TT
#1 looks like Kelsey lugs. I have them on 30x3.5 kelsey rims.
#3 looks like kelsey also for TT rear wheels.

Number four looks like the TT rim clamps I am familiar with. The '25 TT I had many years ago used those on the 20 inch rear wheels. I don't know whether they were used on any of the 23 inch TT rims or not. I still have a few of those hanging on a hook in my shop. Some have the "Ford" script, some do not.

Joseph, the number ones are indeed lugs for Kelsey 88 rims. At $16 each for new, precisely CNC machined reproductions now available from the vendors, you have a small fortune in that heap! Yours are much nicer, showing minor flaws, deforming and some numbers/markings which make originals so much more interesting.

Thanks Allan, it's only a small fortune if someone pays you that! I do believe from my reading that the #6 lugs marked 27 TN is an alternative these for the Kelsey 88 rim

#5 are also lugs for the Kelsey # 88 rims. # 6 I'm not familier with, but am reasonably sure they aren't for the Kelset #88 rims. It would help to see the back side of those. Dave
1925 mostly original coupe.

Great catalog page for reference , Joe. This will help me identify a good sized pile of weird NOS rim bolts I have.

We sometimes forget there were other cars than ford back then. Ford did use many different types, but they were only half the car population then. I’m still riding in the back of your flivver, Dave. It was a dream ride!

Dave, now you know my hesitation and caution when it comes to buying something I have little or no knowledge of. Thanks again for the hospitality

My pleasure fellas !! I spent my first 14 years in that backseat Tim. You sure looked cooler after the artificial breeze from the ride !!

Heck, maybe you were conceived in that back seat. You are a great caretaker of that fine ride, Dave! It’s in great hands, and your daddy would be proud.
