For Sale: Zenith S4BF with manifold *sold*

Post by AdminJeff » Mon Sep 09, 2019 6:25 pm

I bought this last year from Stan Howe who had completely rebuilt it top to bottom. I paid $800 for it and used it for a few months until I got the rebuild kit for my Winfield SR which came with and is staying on the car. I'll take $150 off what I paid for it as it is not quite as shiny as when I got it, but then I'm not good at polishing brass.

It is in perfect condition and comes w/ everything you see. This carb was fantastic and a definite, measurable improvement over the NH. I hate to part with it, but... I need to rebuild both my motor and trans and that ain't going to be cheap. My loss.

$500 shipped anywhere in the USA.

It is. Not sure what you're after? It comes with the manifold and fits on a stock T head...

I would have sent the money. I wish I would have been given a chance at this carburetor. I always wanted a s4bf with Stan’s adjustable jet.

Sorry Eab...I honestly didn't see your earlier post. I will say that this carb has been listed since Sept 9th, almost a full month.

TIP: always send the user an email (or a PM) if you want something.

I saw the carburetor/intake the day it was posted and at the time it was more than I could afford. I needed to save up my money to buy the carburetor. I had saved the money and expressed my interest to buy it. I feel it would be only proper if you offered me the opportunity to purchase the carburetor. I would even pay the cost to refund Bruce his money back.

I mailed it out yesterday.

Stan has another one for sale, I'd suggest you don't delay and get ahold of him via email or PM.

I actually have several in stock right now. I bought a couple thousand dollars worth from a guy this summer. One is new old stock, two are the standard design and one is the later design with the straight inlet and idle adjustment design changed.
I have one original zenith manifold and two with the V racer manifold.
They have been listed on here for a couple months.
I'm in the shop today making venturis and adjustable Jets, HP5A, S4BF, etc.
Brass chips are flying!!

I need to sell some stuff, just paid my property tax and insurance, bought a backhoe and had the propane tank filled.
