I have a 13/39 set with the identical stamping (B23S then a large C with small FF inside it and then tiny A9) on a unused set that I bought from Specialized Antique Auto Parts in Huston in about 1983. I have been trying to identify the manufacturer. Do you or anyone here know how to find that info? The set appears to have been USA made at a time when most of what we could get was from Taiwan or Argentina. Both were bad. Ken

My guess is they were made by Fairfield Manufacturing. Fairfield was purchased by Oerlikon several years ago.
