WTB - high compression head

Post by Mike Lebsack-Iowa » Mon Oct 28, 2019 9:50 pm

Looking for a Prus or similar high compression head. Anybody have one sitting on a shelf? Would also consider a Haibe, Simmons Super Power, or Giant head. Thanks, Mike

Mike, I have one that looks like a T head but no wells at the spark plugs, been running on my Fordor for years. Joe

Tell me about it Joe, is it cast iron and does it make a difference? Guessing does if you have been running it on a Fordor?

There is an aluminum Sherman Spit Fire on ebay. I just saw it not tied to it.

HI, Joe ...
Hope all is well there!
I'm thinking of putting a high compression head on the freshened rebuilt motor I got from you about 4 years ago .
I thought it was about time I pull the bottom inspection plate off the motor, and check for any looseness first, however.

Is your cast head still for sale?
Thanks,
Dennis (Was in Oak Park, MI ... now in Petoskey, MI)

Dennis, It just went to Fort Wayne Sunday to Mike Hawkins, sorry. I had a trip to Kansas City and he had an interest in it and he was on the way.
