The Sampson Tire Co. This would make a very nice spare. I always try to use a old obscure tire company or S-3 marked tires for my spare tires. Makes for a good conversation item and will still serve as a spare if needed.
To ship a tire all you have to do is put a mailing label on it and take it to the U S Post Office. I usually wrap the tire with shrink wrap or paper,9 in a coil or candy cane style wrap. Leave the center open. But it is not necessary. Someone should be able to use it. ...

Richard
I would certainly be interested in your tire, so will send you an email, too.

Re: 30/3-1/2 tire smaller than normal.
That is a standard 30 x 3 1/2 tire. As far as I know the modern made 30 x 3 1/2 tires are all oversize they are actually 31 x 4 in size.
A word to the wise..... Never use an original tire as a spare regardless of how good it looks! Unless of course you enjoy being stranded on the side of a back road in the middle of nowhere in the hot summer sun for an afternoon without cell service or help. Don't bother to ask me how I know.
