FS: Gilfillan Distributor....
....decidedly not for a Model T. Was an incorrect unit on a 2 cylinder car I acquired years ago. The previous owner couldn’t find the rare correct magneto. I could so this is now excess. Mounted on a custom aluminum bar to obtain correct height to the cam gear. $35 + actual shipping.

Re: FS: Gilfillan Distributor....
The unit is an Atwater Kent magneto replacement unit, with a model CC distributor. The Gilfillan name plate is from the company that made the cap. Gilfillan was an early aftermarket ignition parts manufacturer. Gilfillan eventually became Bear, then Echlin and finally today we know them as NAPA.

Re: FS: Gilfillan Distributor....
Thanks for the history Tom...a precursor to NAPA, huh? Unit is in good shape. Cute oilers for shafts. Aluminum block machined to fit s 2 cylinder Maxwell. Would suffice until someone can find s Splitdorf H magneto...
