For Sale 1926 - 27 old repro nickle radiator shell

Post by dobro1956 » Sun Sep 08, 2019 3:46 pm

For Sale, 1926 -27 repro high radiator shell. This is an older repro that I acquired from an estate I bought several years ago. Im not sure when it was made, but it is one of the shells that has the holes already punched. Some of the later repros did not have the holes punched. I have used some of the repros years ago, and found out the holes were a little too small and need slightly enlarged for the welt to easily be installed. This shell is never used but has hung on the wall and sat on a shelf for many years. The plating appears to be good and no flaking. There is some roughness to the surface and may buff out, but I can not guarantee it to buff out to a show car finish. On the inside of the shell is a small spot that had rusted due to a dirt dauber nest. It is very minor and more of a dis-coloring than a heavy rusting. Overall this is a pretty nice shell that was never used, and has some shelf wear. I believe they do not re-produce the high shells anymore. please look at the pics closely and call or e-mail any questions you may have.

Ill take 150.00 for it plus shipping.
