Wtb 24 tt

Post by Don ellis » Thu Nov 07, 2019 9:23 pm

I have a customer wanting a 24 tt with a dump bed preferably an older restoration. I thought I would see what was out there.

I do not have such a critter .... just a few suggestions to perhaps help your search.

TT's were largely the same from start to finish, in terms of model year changes. The
big differences were in the bodies fitted to the chassis. Does your customer want a
wood body ? C-cab ? Closed cab ? Why does your customer specify a 1924 ?

His company started in 24 with a tt. It was a steel closed cab.

That's neat !

Tow trucks and dump trucks seem to be very popular amongst the few that go for
the TT trucks, so there are a lot of survivors. Chances are that there are a few to be
found. Now, just to align the "24" with the right body !

24-27's could be nearly identical from outward appearance, with just minor detail
differences, if "the look" is more important than the serial number and what the title
reads, just in case he wants to broaden his search parameters.

Good luck ! 👍
