Is there a list of modern replacement parts that members have used on their T's wether it be bearings, bushings, bulbs, capacitor, seals or any other parts that have been used to keep them going? Thanks

This should take care of replacement bearings, races and seals for the front axel. All are readily available. I get mine from Fisher auto run by Federated Auto Parts.

The closest thing to a single list of everything would be a parts dealer catalogue. I believe Lang's is the most extensive. For the bearings Brad posted also check Rock Auto. They often have the best price. Spark plugs are available from local auto parts stores, but you may have to wait a day or two. There are also folks who specialize in particular parts. Some of them advertise in The Vintage Ford and Model T Times. The MTFCA and MTFCI websites also have pages of parts and services.

The vendors catalogs have a lot of replacement parts in them. They are a good source of information about parts that can be used as a T reference guide. In other words you can learn about T’s and their parts and what’s different about them in respect of Model years.

Lang's Old Car Parts has the most complete line of T parts. You can get a free catalog from them at

Excellent! I'm saving that for sure. I didn't know about the carburetor floats and some of the other items.

Some modern replacement items are mentioned in the mtfca 'handbooks', but the info is buried in the text. Carb floats are mentioned in that publication, and I think generator bearings & seals in the starter/generator book, but those few are only a fraction of what others have already mentioned. A comprehensive list would be helpful, pulling that together would take some effort. jb
