What is this light bracket for?

I just saw this on the internet and thought I could find out what it is for.

1915 or 1916 Ford roadster tail lamp bracket. It's missing the license plate bracket.

I was thinking more like the side light bracket off a TT.

Actually - it's a '15 - the 1916 brackets were riveted together.

It looks like a sidelight bracket to be bolted onto a flat front aftermarket body.

A good picture from a side angle would confirm it either way. To me it does look like the '15 runabout tail-lamp bracket missing the license plate extension (I have one for my '15 runabout). At this angle, I cannot really be sure.

I agree with Wayne. From the above photo, it looks to me like it was made that way.
