I will soon be installing new felt window channels, regulator and window glass in my 1927 coupe. I plan to reuse the bottom window channel. I have never done this before, so need guidance. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This may help a little:

This is what I found with that number mentioned. It's for Model A and later I believe:

I have just used Glass setting tape from a window shop.
Lang's does have this:

I hope you find a good solution.

I want to reuse the glass channels for the door windows. What is the best way to remove them?

Stick a strip of 2” wide black Gorilla duct tape on one side of the glass at the base of the glass where it goes into the channel to protect the glass, then get a thin serrated steak knife with a curved blade and saw all the way through the cork. If one side does not loosen the glass enough to come out of the channel, cut the other side. Jim Patrick

Bruce. I meant to ask. Why remove the channel. The original glass looks good. Can’t you leave it as is and reuse the original glass, or are you planning to put in safety glass? Jim Patrick

Jim, I want to put safety glass in. Also, one of the windows has a vertical crack.
Today, I remembered that I had asked about removing channels in a post back in February. After reviewing that post, I decided to try removing them as suggested by Tyler; that is, putting a piece of wood against the channel and hitting it with a rubber mallet. It worked!

Great! Good choice! Much easier and faster than what I suggested. Jim Patrick

The glass channels shown in the three photos in my May 23 post have been sandblasted as shown in the attached photos. I plan to install the glass into the channels as shown in Dan Treace's February 4 sketch attached, after priming them with Rust-Oleum.
The last photo here shows how the glass was originally installed which is basically what is in Dan's sketch. My question is: What is the proper material to use to bed the glass into the groove?
Is it A-3401-X on page A-199 in Snyder's catalog? Is it 78500FT on page 178 in Lang's catalog? Is it A45963X on Mac's catalog? I am leaning toward Mac's product.
If I use Mac's tape, do I use the 8399A adhesive on page 205 of Lang's catalog?

I got no answers to questions in my June 6 post.

Bruce, if you are replacing the side window channels, I did this a few years back but had trouble with the kits sold by the vendors.
see

Also, Stan Pro has been merged with another company so may be hard to find. Last time I looked them up I found it through a marine/boat company
So, for the side and top channels, Measure the thickness of your glass and check with the Model T vendors to see what they are selling now.
My bottom channel on the glass was ok so I didn't replace it.
