It would be interesting to have an information forum, where one could post new data, information or newly found vintage information on the Model T ford. On line, often a question comes up, such as the B series 1912 Model Ts and many of our members are not aware of that series. If we had a forum devoted to such information, it wopiuld be of good help. There might be a way to have that forum spilt into categories.

Isn't the current Forum and old forum already full of information for new members?
What would the process be to enter "new information" that wasn't already posted. I do agree that the forum needs to have General Discussions split into subcategories to avoid rehashing the same information previously discussed, over & over (oil, grease, Paint, tubes, tires, coils, magneto etc) AND as a method to categorize such information for future reference . But someone who is interested in a particular fact can always GOOGLE it

This has come up more than a few times and the forum has more categories than it use to. BUT even with the categories it has gone back to a general forum. Using a google search works faster than using the forum search for a particular subject. Posting a post title that has generalities such as help, it’s broke, is this right and so on makes it more difficult to put in a category even if someone wanted to.
But people will do what they do and I can live with it. As my first supervisor told me over 50+ years ago if you can keep 60% of your work crew going in the right direction your doing pretty good. Having the forum in categories where people could find information would be great but it won’t ever happen.
The 60% rule rings true today as it ever did! Have a happy day.

Push the Resources link on the home page and find all that is needed to be known.

That’s right Kerry! Lots of questions can be answered if the resources section was used and especially on the encyclopedia section. By all means when we are in doubt read the instructions. It usually works every time.

I never worry about "catagories" Just log on--hit QUICKLINKS (upper left on forum page). That brings up ACTIVE TOPICS-----Click on that and ALL current postings appear, in order by date and time sent. I use QUICK Links several times during any FORUM visit....Try it!
