Hi all,
I took my Bendix apart and noticed the shaft stop nut has holes on either side that almost line up with a section of the end of the shaft. It looks like there should be some kind of pin to hold the stop nut on. Is there a part missing? See photo.

Nothing's missing

look down in there carefully and you'll notice some upset metal which is keeping it from unscrewing

Thanks so much Scott. I was afraid I dropped something on the floor when I took it out of the car (Bendix first, of course).
