What do you use to replace rotted top bow corners? I have seen a previous post about pcv strips from Lowes and the pieces Langs sell. Any advice or tips? Art

I presume you are talking about the later cars with the curved irons and the straight wood in the center? This is what I did on both of my 26 T's. I opened carefully the tabs on the outside of the steel and then I took layer after layer of Oak Veneer in the channel. I got this oak from Home depot which comes in a strip with glue on one side. I heated the veneer with a hair drier until the glue stuck. When it was built up enough to fill the channel, I bent the tabs back in place. It holds tacks just fine.

I recently mix saw dust with wood glue. worked great. you can get the saw dust at a farm supply store (tractor supply), try to use the finer shavings with a carpenters glue, mix it until it will hold together when you squeeze it then pack it in. Leave it a little high to sand if desired. and paint. Took me 2 hours for the whole car. I packed a little paper at the bottom so nothing falls through.
