What size are the mag post, starter, and bendix screws on a 19-25 Hogshead. What about the threads where you bolt it to your pan?
Thanks in advance, Jacob Mangold

Mag Post 3/16"(X) ....Should be 10- 32 x 1/2'" or 5/8" L Pan head single slot, L depending on year of post
Starter 3/8"-16 x 1/2" (X)....Should be 5/16" -18 x 7/8" Round head single slot
Hogshead Cover Door 5/16"-18 x 1/2" L Dome head single slot
Bendix cover 14-24 (obsolete thread) x 3/4"L Round head single slot w/lockwasher (correct from vendors, not hardware store item)

Dan
did you really mean 10-32 instead of 3/16-32?
3/16-32 is BSF Fine (Whitworth Thread) and I'm pretty sure that is not called out here, though I don't have access to a drawing
am I about to learn something new this AM?

Well, that dimension source 'as-is" from the Bolt Listing on the Gallery, icon in the upper right of the Forum page. Took it for fact, so will send a note to have this pdf page changed.

Should have known too, that 3/16" wasn't right, did know it is a very fine thread, and takes care to place it, esp. in the alum hogsheads.

Dan
maybe I DID learn something today! (?)
I never knew about that nut/bolt chart so it's a legitimate lesson - and now the question is: is that info from a drawing, or is is a simple error? There's only a couple thou difference between 3/16 and #10 (ignoring the thread form difference)
It's little tidbits like this that I find particularly fascinating, particularly on the rare occasion that such a thoroughly researched subject is found to be in error. If you learn one way or another, I hope you will report your findings. Thanks much for the additional info via your link.

I have that list in its original format, but I like what Adrian did to it. I'll keep his version with the earlier one.

I have to make a correction.
Starter mounting bolts are 5/16-18 round head slot & seem to range in length from .830-.875 (7/8)

The Bolt Chart on the Forum Gallery was originally a pdf file that was made by one of the T Clubs out west....forgot who posted it originally. But Adrian Whiteman (NZ) did the great work of putting all in the series on the Gallery. He acknowledged some 'errors' are in the listings.....and has asked for help back when.
I intend to send him message on what corrections have observed and will of course add these, the Bendix cover, and the Starter Motor. Thanks all for providing the proper sizings.

Hi guys,
Yes. I put together the 'bolt chart' during that viral lock down using various sources and an original version done earlier.
I am more than happy to make corrections, please send me a PM with the corrections - AND/OR to fill in missing data.
(Thanks Dan - I look forward to the details

)
Kind regards
Adrian Whiteman
