1922 Center Door

Over the last two days, I have disassembled the rear seat box and have transferred drawings to paper. I will be planing down, with the help of another T pard of mine, lumber to fabricate the new pieces. All the box pieces were there with the exception of just a small strip of the rear most riser. I will determine the height needed and make another one. The only pieces I will use from the original are the tacking strips on either side of the box frame and the metal trim that gets covered with cloth on the front riser. I will use the original threaded Fender Mounting Brackets as well, since they are attached to the seat box.
The original wood measures 5/8ths thick for the rear riser heel board and further most riser. The rest of the wood that the seat spring sits on measures out at 3/4ths thick.
