Does anyone have any input or leads as to how this dual engine was made? I have a mad idea and spare parts!

Brad.

You'd certainly need a flex coupling. I'd think the forward engine would run hot, if they both didn't. Who built this thing? Tommy Ivo's grand dad?

Wonder how it cooled with the hot water from the front engine running into the 2nd engine and then to the radiator?

Well, it's got a water pump on the rear engine. That and some MMO ought to keep everything nice and cool. If not, there's always SLICK 50!

Here is an interesting video of it titled "Craftsman 1913 Ford Speedster Twin-T - The Race of Gentlemen Vintage Racer - SEMA 2015 - Eastwood" If that is Pete Eastwood, he may be able to answer some questions about it.

I clipped this from the video. I think I see a roller chain coupling which is simply two sprockets joined by dual chain. that would certainly be a flexible coupling.

"Toolmaker Craftsman teamed up with series organizers to build what it dubbed "the Craftsman racer." We liked it."
"Built on a burlier-than-T Ford Model TT chassis and designed to resemble a Ford 999 racing car."

A few other variations. It looks like the first plumbed both motors direct to the rad:

There was a guy named Charles Ford living in Alabama that had one about 30 years ago when I visited with him to buy some other T parts.

It was a race car and painted red.

I believe this is the one with the two blocks with sequential numbers.
