A friend bought 2 bumac cranks from snyders but when they arrived the journals were model a size. I have line bored the block and rebabitted and burned to suit. You used to be able to get egge pistons to suit but not now I believe. Therefore I need to cut the model a rods and weld on part of a t rod...

I have to cut and weld model A and model T rods together. Where is the best place to do it Near the big end or small end or in the middle.
