Out of Golden, Colorado we Traveled to Black Hawk and Central City which were old mine towns that now have gambling. Lot of unknowns here. IF it was MINE, First, I would check compression before pulling it out to see if top end work needed, you'll have pan off so I would check Condition and Clearances on rods and mains, crankshaft end play, clean inside oil line, check magnets, and clean any debris out. You should be able to go to whoever issued the title in your state and get previous owners. Take copy of title when you go.

Out of Muncie, IN is the AMA grounds where airplane modelers have numerous areas to fly their models. Also, there is a great model airplane museum there. I've visited Coker's shop in Chatanooga where they make the wheels, and they do nice work. Make complete wheels for other brands of cars not just for T's. It's worth a trip to see their tire shop, wheel shop, and Corky's car and motorcycle collection. They are just off I 24.

Thanks, Steve, for reminding me about the steam train going thru the San Juan mountains to Chama, NM Its a must do when you are in the area Difficult to realize how the tracks were laid in this terrain The Jack Dempsey Museum was another interesting stop

My Dad sold a 24 touring for 5 bucks He said it was a pretty good car Buyer drove it off He took the 5 bucks and bought a pair of bolt cutters that had 30 inch handles He said he needed them worse than the T Anyway would that count??? I still have the bolt cutters
