Pat, there were just over 125 cars. Yes, it was a lot of work to organize the tour, but the results of our work were very rewarding, and we were blessed with the best weather we could have hoped for this week.

The Snap-On Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin has the truck on display. The Dairyland Tin Lizzies visited the museum after a business meeting years ago.

Here is a drawing showing the parts of the Snowbird. The plate you are referring to is trapezoidal and replaces the bar under the front spring clamp. It should be easy to have one laser cut from 1/2" steel. I would love to see pictures of your Model T snow machine.

I don't have speedometer experience, but it makes sense that the small gear would turn 1/18th faster with one less tooth, which would give you about 2 mph higher reading at 35 mph, which would be closer to your GPS reading of 38 mph.
