Thanks for posting these links. The catalogs are very interesting. What I like is when you click on the catalog it opens and you can read the text and see what was popular then or read about your car. The tools in the Western Auto catalog are great to see.

I was always told that motorcycle oil was used because it contained zinc and that zinc was a necessary additive to aid valve seats that were not replaced with hardened steel.

I watched the three videos that I could find on it and it mostly looks like a cosmetic restore job. They didn't do any disassembly they just painted clear over the rust with a brush and no mechanical work yet.

Sometimes the problem is lack of gas flow from the sediment bulb and can be caused by two issues. 1) Screen is dirty and plugged up . 2) The valve hole is not in line with the fuel line when it is open. Some of the handle holes were not drilled in the correct position. The car will run fine at lower...

If you read my post I never said it couldn't be done I just showed the original radiator and listed MOST of the modifications that would be needed to make it work. There are many more modifications like mounting etc that need to be incorporated

The inlet and outlet tubes as well as the fill cap are in need of modification in order to work in a stock Model T. Also the hood rod would need to be braised on

Don't forget about Miss Penelope who would contribute her recipes to the "Worm Weekly" and the most beloved and copied recipe was Worm alamode pie! and the second most popular was worm soup. I can't locate my copy of the cook book that had the pictures in it so I hope someone can share theirs.

Some fellas use a product called "Quick Polly" if I am correct. It is an epoxy that fills the gaps and makes wood strong again. In past posts they talk about it.

Years ago when I worked in a tire shop we used rubber cement, spread it around the patch area and lit it. We would let it burn for a short time then blow it out but while it was still hot we would apply the patch and clamp it tight.
