Locally it seems that people don't want to sell a car to local people. Several times people who you thought were your friends, sell cars or collections off to people outside our local area. It's like our money isn't good enough for them. Okay, maybe it's sentimental, and they don't want to see someo...

Was / is there a repop bracket made like in Keith's picture? All I see is the kind with the round upright, which are, er, less than optimal. I made one like in Keith's picture and it works great. Seems like there would be a market for something more robust. I got one from RV that looked to be silver...

Re: Lightweight Model T Hauling Trailer?
When I first had my 1913, 1995, I bought a Trailex open car trailer fabricated from Aluminum Extrusions. Four wheels, brakes all around. It served us well, we towed it with a Ford Aerostar van. Had tonneau cover, and removed the lights and covered the radiator. The arrangement worked well until my w...

Many years ago at Hershey, Russ Potter was selling R V mirrors that bolted to the windshield frame using TWO bolts of the windshield hinge. It has been on my '13 Touring since. It stays put, yes, it shakes, but so does everything else. Much less than the clamp style thou. THE BOLT LENGTH IS CRITICAL...

I think most of the vendors use the first part of the Ford number followed by a letter or/and number for their own inventory purposes. There was a time when Ford (Motor Co.) claimed possession of the parts book numbers and vendors had to invent their own, but that seems to have been resolved. Likely...

All of a sudden you can't buy oils like Pennzoil 10W-30 It seems that oils were no longer adequate for engines with turbochargers, etc. so they have changed the spec and the only oils available are synthetic and rated for your turbocharger. I don't think warping is caused by the heat, rather by the peening action of the grains of blasting media. I have bead blasted too many chassis parts to count but I will not media blast sheet metal! Paint stripper, but that has its own problems healthwise.

Original Upholstery ?
I have looked at many things on my 1921 coupe that make me think that it was a solid original car with not a lot of use when it was "restored" in the mid 1980's. It was carefully stored in 1987, and saw light of day next in November of 2018. One thing I wonder about is the upholstery on the seats an...

“The T” worked fine on the ‘13 until a ‘21 coupe entered the picture. So “the T” ‘s friend was named after a long loved golden retriever, named after a car, in the garage when the golden came home, Lizzie. Disney be d#$@d. Cars are not conciously named, they just come along.
