Need One Hub Cap
I am in need of one (1) hub cap to fit my 1919 C-door.
Would like one that matches the 'patina' of my other three on the car.
Thanks,
Chuck

Copper Head Gasket
I am replacing a leaky head gasket with a copper gasket from Lang's.
Should I use any gasket type sealer on the head or just use the copper gasket without sealer??
Thanks,
Chuck

Re: Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
Frank: Thanks for the pictures. I do have the 3 springs for the outer ring and the single spring for the center. Pict #5845 looks like mine but I don't seem to have any stops to prevent the tumbler from spinning? I have the switch all back together. Will take it apart and look again. Thanks again! W...

Re: Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
I did get the wafers working in the tumbler. I caught 9 wafers in and when I put in #10 the key would not turn. So per James recommendation, I left out wafer #10 and it turns. However, the key still does the 360 degree turn. I must be missing a part that prevents the tumbler from turning 360? Thanks...

Re: Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
Okay, am posting some more pictures. These are all the parts that I have. So not sure if I am missing any.
However, it seems to me something should stop the cylinder from turning 360 degrees?
Thanks for everyones help and comments.

Frank:
Meant to post that I am not sure what prevents the key from turning 360 degrees? The key should not turn left past the BAT marking or right past the MAG mark. Not sure if the wafers will prevent this?

Re: Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
Frank: Thanks for the info. Attached are photos of the switch, tumbler, and contact points. When I install the tumbler/etc without the wafers in the dash, the key turns 360 degrees. Then I can't tell if the contact points are on battery or mag or somewhere within 360 degrees. I am assuming the wafer...

Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
2382E10F-050D-4104-B8FD-7C4DC2E59A8B_1_201_a.jpeg Does anyone have experience rekeying a Culm ignition switch. Previous owner did not have the key to Culm #15; they used a toggle switch to start the 1919 C-door. I bought a Culm key #68 that fits the switch. But have to rekey the 'pins' to fit key #...

Top Dead Center #1
When the timing mark on the camshaft gear is in line with the 'FORD' inscription on one tooth of the timing gear; is this Top Dead Center for piston #1? When mine are inline it still appears as #1 piston still has about 1/8 to 1/4 inch to reach top of head. Gear teeth have to move about 5 more teeth...

Re: Remove Hogshead
Steve, thanks for the reply. I have done it several times with the engine pulled. There is not much room between the hogshead and engine. Just wondering how hard it would be to do a good job?

Even this time I couldn't see the numbers unless I held a flashlight at about a 23 degree angle they were faintly visible. Scraped the paint off and there it was!! Just like in Dan's picture and mi...

Model T Key ?
I have a project car that am working on; 1921 coupe from an estate. Previous owner (deceased) had put in a new ignition switch, probably 12 years ago. I can not find the key for this switch amongst his part boxes. Called Langs and they said all new switches were keyed #55 since about 1960. So I orde...
