Re: WTB. Steering bracket for 'TT' Right Hand Drive.
As stated, it is a detailed book put out by agent in Auckland (under Colonial Motor Co umbrellar), but someone previously hand written date 1917 in it. Looks like actually late 1919 as covers trucks and tractors but still has war related content (WWI), but only lists parts for up to 1918 models. Par...

Re: WTB. Steering bracket for 'TT' Right Hand Drive.
Thanks Allan, i await your contact.
Looking at several period parts books, it appears that the part number either duplicates with other parts or changes over years ? ?
The John Andrews, Ford agents in Auckland's parts listing for 1917 has a totaly different number.

Painting new wood wheels
I have looked up the past discussions and the subject has been well covered but it appears some say not to oil the new wood ? When I picked up my newly spoked & fellowed wheels, they had been coated with 'raw' linseed oil. That was about 4 months ago and they have been just sitting since then. Sadly...

Running Board Acetylene cylinder ?
I have recently come across an acetylene cylinder without an markings. I have seen some previously with the "Prest-o-lite" script rolled in the shell but this one has nothing. The valve at the top is offset and it has the gauge concealed within the base as would a running board tank. It is 6 & 1/4" ...

Re: Seat Belt Install
Surely you would use "period" belts ?? If you recall watching "Green Acres" back in the 60s [ or was it the 70s ?] "Mr Hainey" had safety belts fitted to his TT. That kind of restraint is as much as most "T" bodies can withstand. I recall they were of woven or platted baling twine, securely hooked o...

Re: Could be FORD ?
I understand that the one that got 'Bought out" was also bailed out, and still managed to send itself down the crapper ? But I am sure the 'executives' still had good salaries and board members good fat fees right up till the day they got bought for a song ? I understand the OTHER one to get bailed ...
