Headlight lens rim question
Can anyone shed some light on why some headlight lens rims have Ford script and others have Ford/Brown script? I assume Ford script is more common? How rare is Ford / Brown script?

I have two examples of the early band adjusting wrench I would sell. One has been wire brushed and one has not.

Camshaft flange 3rd hole question
What is the intended purpose of the third hole in the camshaft flange and does it's orientation matter in the timing of the large timing gear to small timing gear?[image][/image]

1914 Crank Pulley Removal and Reinstallation Question
I have a late 1913 engine (#369365) in my 1914 Depot Hack with what appears to be a correct narrow snout crankcase (oil pan w/ 3 dip inspection plate). I removed the radiator and fan to provide good access to the front cover. My original intent was to correct two problems: leaking crankshaft seal an...

Re: valve timing with high compression pistons
You get an A+ for cleverness, but if you don't have a stock "T" cam, that was quite an exercise in futility. A new cam has been designed for a VERY small pushrod gap and now that you have a new cam and wide open clearances (as listed in the manual), you've gained a noisy engine and have probably de...

Re: valve timing with high compression pistons
"The method of accurate valve timing on a Model T Ford engine is to time the valves by piston travel" per Ford Service Bulletin released December 1924. It accommodates a worn cam, but also works with a new standard cam. I figured out an alternate way to use the KRWilson method of adjusting 'valve ti...
