Re: Driving Adventures 2024

Skip ahead to October. September will be a post all to itself. My best friend, Jeron T. packed up his 1919 Touring and Stephen N. rode along with him. I was in my 1914 Touring and we left from about Detroit MI and drove all the way down to Hershey. It was Jerons first time doing that trip in a T. [i...

1914 Touring Driving Adventures 2024

I haven't been a very active club member the past few years, but I hope to make it down to homecoming this year. I finally got my 1914 Touring back on the road in the spring. I had a lot of driving to catch up on. Here are a few pictures of the adventures from this past year. Starting off in May I w...

Young Folks Getting In On This Old Car Thing

People are always asking me how do we get more young people involved in the old cars. To make a long story short I tell them their are a few things that can be done. Of course all these things are subject to... can you afford to do this. 1. Give the youngster a car. A complete chassis covered in rus...

FS 1912 Ford T Frame Speedster

1912 Ford T Frame that had been modified for a speedster that resembled Frank Kulick's T speedster from way back in the day. I've double checked and I am sure it is a 1912 frame. Asking $800. Located about an hour north of Detroit, MI or 20 minutes SW of Port Huron, MI. [image][/image] 315094290_838...

Re: Blockley tyres available?

Blockley said they would reach out to me after the new year.... its been 2 months and I haven't heard a thing. Even before that they kept dropping the ball on getting back to me. I made a very fair deal with them to be their distributor, but I think shipping in bulk costs way too much for them still...

I will be moving and will be about 1 hour north of Detroit (via modern car). I don't know how to edit post. I can do more than just front axles too. I have UPS shipping account too for cheaper shipping rates if you want I can send you a shipping label to get parts to rebuild to me.

Blockley Update more like lack of

I emailed Julian from Blockley before Hershey, during hershey, after hershey and last week. I haven't heard anything from them. This is poor. Maybe something happened to Julian, I don't know. I'm going to attempt calling them this week. I could assume some stuff, but we all know what that does.

Re: Blockley Tyre Update

I emailed Blockey on Saturday and said their is great demand here for their tubes and tyres! I asked what's the hold up, besides covid, and what's taking so long to get this rolling?! I'm making it easy for them, I think. I very well may just take the charge and give them a call!!! Its tuesday, have...

Hershey or Bust was a BUST

Hershey or bust was a BUST this year. I tightened up the engine last week and headed out for Hershey Thursday afternoon. I heard a knock start to develop about 50 miles in and 80 miles in I didn't want to drive on it anymore. I had it flatbedded to my friend Ralph and Margaret's in Toledo and they g...

Blockley Tyre Update

I received and email from Blockley Tyre in England and they are going to put some pallets together of 30x3, 30x3.5, and the 21s, as well as metal stemmed tubes. He is going to see again how many he can get on a pallet. Shipping is still a pain, but he is wanting to move forward and so do I. I let yo...

Would you be willing to scan them and post them on here? I am planning on making a truck body sometime soon(no idea how soon) and would sure like some other resources since I don't have any. I would even be willing to pay for copies from a kinkos and pay for you to ship them to me.

Thank you

Re: Blockley Tires (Tyres)

Blockley and I have been trying to set something up with tires, but container shipping and pallet shipping has tripled according to CEO of Blockley since the start of the pandemic. We were trying to get a few dozen tubes shipped over since all the US dealer are out of metal stemmed tubes. I have not...

Front Axle Rebuilds

Hi folks. I have tooling for rebuilding front axles and steering assemblies. I check to see if axle is bent, put new bushings in front axle, new bushings in spindles, spindle arm bushings, I can do spring bushings too. Need new wheel bearings? How about a repair on your hub cap threads? My shop is a...

Re: Blockley 30 x 3 tyres

I am currently working with the CEO of Blockley, Julian, to see if it would be more cost effective for me to become the US dealer for Blockley tires just pertaining to model t tire sizes. We are working out shipping prices and how many to send over in the first batch. With my ups account, shipping w...

SUSAN! Congrats on retirement. I'm not sure if the museum would have excelled as much as it has if you were not there. It is always a joy to see you and the excitement you have for the MTFCA. I'm sure you will enjoy coming to homecoming as a spectator. Now you can join us on the T tours too. See you...

If you are headed to detroit for these heads, are you going to EDL Services LLC in Troy? They own the Harry A. Miller Inc. and are building the burden miller car for Stahls Collection. They have a hell of a collection of patterns.

Hi all. Sorry, I hardly ever post on here. Last week I took a trip with my better half around the perimeter of the lower Michigan peninsula. We started in Mt Clemens and drove up the east side of the state, around the thumb and up to Oscoda tacking in 300 miles. Day 2 we drove to Mackinaw City which...

Thank you all for your kind words. I am pleased to receive this award and I will see some of you at Homecoming in May, though I will not be bringing my T. To clarify, I did not completely restore my car. The paint on the outside of the car is about 50 years old and the paint on the inside of the car...
